Å jobbe med fiskeutstyr betyr at man hele tiden må ligge et år i forkant.
Mye av grunnen til det, er at vi må få testet alt vi eventuelt tilbyr butikkene. Og skal man få testet skikkelig så er det nesten så man må bruke en hel sesong.
Og ikke minst bruke gode sportsfiskere som er spesialister på det området produktet skal brukes. Og slike ting tar tid. Som jeg har skrevet før f.eks om Eastfield og Renz-Stein, små skala produsenter har ikke råd til å gjøre feil. Det samme gjelder pikewallisfriluftsliv, vi kan ikke trå feil ut mot butikk. Vi må finne feilene før det.
Og det å prøve å selge inn noe man ikke vet nok om er heller ingen god sak. I andre større firmaer så har man folk som utvikler og tester og jobber 100% med det, og når selgeren får det så er det reday to go. Slik er det ikke med oss mindre, vi må gå hele vegen selv.
Stenger er utrolig vanskelig, men skulle man lykkes så er det kjempe stas. Nå har jeg tatt inn 7 stenger fra Favorite som vi skal teste igjennom 2018. Skulle man finne et par gode stenger ut av de sju så vil jeg være fornøyd.
Har gjort et utvalg av haspelstenger fra det billige til de som vil bikke 2000,- ut.
Har også tatt med en stang for multi sneller. I USA så brukes det utrolig mye, men i Norge pr. i dag så er ikke det så mye brukt når vi snakker vekter opp til rundt 30gram.

A series of universal rods. Primarily, Sentinel rods are designed for hard lure fishing. They are wonderful when using minnow type lures as well as when using crankbaits. Sentinel blanks have a moderately fast action, which easy to cast hard baits and shows good performance when fighting with a fish, at the same time they’re stiff enough to perform a twitching technique. The rod is equipped with Fuji K-guides, which prevent soft PE line from wrapping. Even though the rods are to be mainly used with hard lures, they can be used to jig with soft baits as well due to the high sensitivity of the blank.

Har også valgt å ta inn et par sneller. Det var to ting som gjorde at jeg falt for disse.
Fargen og dybden på spolen. 2000 snelle tenkte jeg til lettere fiske og 4000 snella til tyngre fiske. Men med sneller så kommer det et ansvar og det er reservedeler og lignende så det er liksom ikke bae å selge inn uten at man har ting på stelle bakover.
