Kemijoki is a huge river in Finland, that’s why they can talk about it.
The trip was challenging. Many fishermen did not even catch fish at all days.
But when they get fish, then they were big!
Average weight of the fishes was something incomprehensible
The 9 biggest fish had the average weight 10.6kg. !!!
The biggest one of 16,5kg was taken by Mikko Salonen on a Dexter Shad in the colour Atomic Chick.
This lure’s swimming is so unique and that’s why many experienced fishermen have moved on to use this Dexter shad.
They did not get the measured fish, but the weight was amazing 16.5kg!!
The day before, Salonen got his PB pike, 12.4kg with the same lure and he taught: This was here, I never get bigger pike!
But what happens then 🙂
Both fish were caught on spinning and the biggest one is most probably the biggest pike ever caught in a finnish river.
