The body of the sniper is made from high impact plastic. This lure is designed to sink slightly nose down at about 1.5 feet per second. The five inch soft plastic tail on the back of the lure slides into a tight slot that holds it very firmly in place. In the event the tail is damaged you simply slide it off and slide on a new one.
The sniper fishes like soft plastic swimbaits that are similar in design. You can retrieve this lure very quickly, fish it with slow hops, a steady retrieve, or long pulls. The tail is swimming all the time and the lure looks very realistic. This lure is very stable in the water and will not turn over or roll under typical use. The convenient part of this lure is that the tail can be replaced so easily……….no glues, no springs, no hassle.
