The guys from Aremark Gjeddeklubb invited to a C&R competition. C&R comp’s are rare here, so this one we just had to join to show our support.Thile and I took the 2 hour trip to Aspern in Østfold.A lot of nice prizes. I am not sure how many teams that participated, but there were a few, the boatlanding was busy, to say the least.Every kind of boats were there, small tiller boats to fully rigged trollingboats.
The start.
Fishing was tough, clear blue sky and water temps was high.Thile and I fished it all, bulldawging deep on dropoffs, gliders in shallow bays, slowrolling mucktails on reefs etc etc.Others chose to troll around the lake, but it was tough luck for them aswell.Erik, Ståle and Niclas went to another lake in the chain and had some action. I managed to stick one fish, on a Mucktail casted into the reeds.
Not a big one, but its a fish.
Steinar and Morten found the fish and cleaned the whole prizetable, by taking 1st (Morten) and second (Steinar)See you next year.
